The 5” radius roof has a calculated insulating value of R-38. The Radiant Shield Insulation, 97% reflective / 3% emission (valued at R-38) along with 2 layers of residential home Eco-Batt Glasswool insulation (valued at R-14) gives “triple” layer insulation that supplements the cohesive retention factors of roof decking and rubber membrane. There is full length 3/8” wood roof decking over 2" x 2" 16” OC 5” aluminum truss roof rafters for a full walk on roof. All covered by 2 ply rubber roof membrane with built in fire retardant and 12 year limited warranty. The roof is securely bolted to sidewall with 5/16” x 3-1/2” carriage bolts!
The floor is constructed with 5/8” tongue & groove plywood that is glued and screwed to the handmade 3” aluminum frame with in-floor heat ducting is fastened with custom “L” brackets combined with silaprene adhesives. This superior floor construction is atop a cambered 10” I-beam frame with large support outriggers & full length welds.
The floor & underbelly also have a calculated insulating value of R-38 with Radiant Shield insulation along with 2 layers of residential home Eco-Batt Glasswool insulation (valued at R-14). The “triple” layer insulation enhances the protective values of plywood, vinyl, carpet, carpet pads, tank heaters, etc. and makes the 371FL a great choice for your extended season adventures!
The floor and frame assembly is finished with Darco waterproof underbelly wrap and fully enclosed with removable 4’ x 8’ ABS panels for easy access to the tanks. Additionally, there are extra large 12 volt heating pads on all tanks.
Setup will be a breeze with the 6-point “Level-Up” hydraulic leveling system! Just push the auto level button and watch it happen!
